Everything About Teen Pregnancy
All About Teen Pregnancy
Since the early 1990s, teen pregnancies across America
declined dramatically. However, it is a teen pregnancy fact
that 34% of teenage girls in America still get pregnant before
they turn the age of 20. This means that America has one of the
highest teen pregnancy rates in the world. As does England; in
which one in every five births in the country is from a
teenager. These are shocking statistics and adults and
teenagers alike should be active in teen pregnancy prevention.
Health risks to the baby and children out of teen pregnancy are
more likely to experience health, social, and emotional
problems. An increased risk for complications such as premature
labor in teen pregnancy and socioeconomic consequences are
present.
Pregnancy is one of the pivotal moments of a woman's life but
not when you’re young with a bright future ahead. Teen
pregnancy is one of the most difficult experiences any young
woman can go through. The stress of pregnancy, revelation of
pregnancy to parents, and moving on despite the shame and worry
can be nerve-racking.
Pregnancy to teenagers brings all sorts of emotions. Some do
not want their babies while others feel that its creation is an
achievement. Some feel guilty and anxious while others feel
that they need to baby to love but not aware of the special
care it would need. Also, depression is common during pregnancy
in teenagers. And when worse comes to worst, a pregnant
teenager may even require the help of a mental health
professional.
The decline in teen pregnancy can be attributed to several
factors including: more affective, lager choice of
contraception, higher awareness and affective promotion of safe
sex and pre marital abstinence, and providing all around better
healthcare.
When a teen gets a serious boyfriend they may go to any cost to
make their newfound love happy. A lot of teens have sex with
their partner because they think that is the only way to make
him continue to love her. What they should realize is that if
he truly loves her then sex definitely wouldn't be a
priority.
Another cause of teen pregnancy is that a teen is scared to
tell they’re partner to use a condom. It’s not that they don’t
know to use one, it’s trying to break the barrier to talk to
they’re partner about it. Sometimes the teen may also have a
partner who doesn’t want to wear protection. Teenagers have a
lot of hormones and biased desires. However, these can be
easily prevented and controlled prior to performing
intercourse. You must make sure that your teenaged son or
daughter understands that it is a big issue to have intercourse
without protection.
A lot of people look at a young lady who uses protection as a
“bad girl.” This is another cause of teen pregnancy. A lot of
the time it is the parents who don’t want their teen having
sexual intercourse. Do not act in haste when you are in a
relationship. Act wisely.
Birth control methods can fail even when used correctly.
Experts mean that teens likely do not use birth control methods
properly, which leads that they may fail and cause a teen
pregnancy to occur.
If you or someone you know is having teen sex these are some
important causes of teen pregnancy to stay aware of. It is very
easy for a young female to conceive because of the newness of
her cycle. Stay aware and prevent this from happening to you or
your loved one.
